Voter ID bill leaves out seniors, AFL-CIO finds
Source: Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

A new study conducted by the Pennsylvania AFL-CIO has found that more than 13 percent of all senior voters in Pennsylvania are unlikely to have the kind of voter identification required by the new voter ID bill, which is facing a challenge in Commonwealth Court.

The state's largest labor federation released research Monday indicating 450,982 registered senior voters in Pennsylvania do not have a current valid ID from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Of that number, 237,047 are statistically unlikely to have any of the approved forms of photo ID specified in the new Pennsylvania voter ID law.
